Pepper A Chinese Lounge

We set up Pepper A Chinese Lounge in Nehru Nagar East. The shop number is 74/9, and we are right opposite the Canara Bank branch here in Bhilai. It’s a lounge, so we went for a bit of a different vibe with the seating and the lights. It’s not like a typical bright cafeteria. People usually come here when they want to sit for a while and talk. Bhilai is an industrial town, so it gets pretty dusty outside. We try our best to keep the inside clean, but it’s a constant battle with the front door opening and closing. The Chinese food we serve is what we like to eat ourselves. We aren't trying to be an authentic five-star place. It’s just the kind of food people in Nehru Nagar enjoy. The kitchen staff has been with us for a couple of years now, so they know the recipes by heart. We don’t have a big corporate manual. If something isn’t working, we just fix it. Sometimes the music is a little loud, but we can turn it down if someone asks. Being across from the bank makes it easy for people to find us. We get a lot of bank employees coming in after their shift ends. It’s a decent spot to spend an evening. We just keep the AC cold and the food coming out as fast as we can.
