Grant MTL Family Garden Restaurant

People around Kohka know us mainly because we are right opposite Rungta College and near the petrol pump. We’ve been here in Bhilai for a while now. The garden part is what people like, especially when the weather isn’t too hot in the evenings. It’s just a regular family spot where you can sit outside. We have tables under the trees and some lights strung up. It gets pretty busy when classes let out and students come over for a bite. Families from the nearby colonies show up mostly on weekends. It's not a fancy place with velvet chairs or anything like that. We just have standard chairs and tables that we wipe down a lot. Sometimes the noise from the road is a bit much, but that’s just how it is being near the main road. The garden needs a lot of watering because of the Bhilai heat. We spend a good amount of time just keeping the plants alive and making sure the outdoor area is clean. People come here to eat and talk without having to worry about being too formal. We see the same faces every week, mostly folks living in 490023 who don't want to cook at home. It’s a simple setup. We open up, get the kitchen ready, and wait for the first group to walk in from the college. There’s nothing complicated about what we do here. Just a garden, some food, and a place for the neighborhood to sit down.
