We’ve been at Shop 55 in the Nehru Nagar East commercial complex for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Bhilai. Mostly, we spend our time sorting through what comes in from the markets early in the morning. It can get pretty hectic when the crates arrive and we have to get everything moved inside. People in Nehru Nagar East know us for being right there in the complex. It’s not a fancy setup. We have racks for everything and we try to keep things organized so it's easy for folks to find what they need. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it’s really hot or raining, but we stay open. We don't really do much advertising, just word of mouth from people living around Bhilai. The shop is small but it fits everything. We usually start quite early to make sure the shelves aren't empty when the first customers walk in. You’ll see us moving boxes around or checking the inventory on the computer. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily demand for greens and other stuff. We know most of the people who stop by by their first names now. It's just how things work here. We aren't trying to be some giant supermarket, just a place in the neighborhood where you can get your shopping done without a lot of fuss. It is a simple life and we like it that way.
