Taralabalu School

Taralabalu School is located right on Hadadi Road here in Davangere. It’s easy to find because we’re right on the main stretch where all the traffic goes by. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. The school itself is a straightforward place. We have a playground out back where the kids run around during their breaks. It gets dusty in the summer, but they don’t seem to mind much. We start our day early, usually before the sun gets too hot. Most of us who work here are from Davangere ourselves, so we recognize most of the faces walking past the gates. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the bell rings. We spend a good chunk of our time fixing things up or painting walls when they get scuffed. It’s just a regular school where we focus on getting the daily lessons done. There’s always someone coming in to ask about admissions or just to drop off a lunchbox their kid forgot. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the classes and making sure the building is open on time. Hadadi Road can get pretty crowded, so we keep an eye on the kids when they leave in the evening. It’s a lot of routine, really. Checking attendance, making sure the chalk is stocked, and keeping the desks in rows. That’s just how life is at Taralabalu School in Davangere.
