Vinayaka Trust High School

Vinayaka Trust High School is currently operating out of the PES Higher Primary School building. We are located in MCC B Block, which is right in the heart of the MCC area in Davangere. It’s a very busy part of the city. Because we share the space, things can get a bit tight, especially when the primary school kids and our high schoolers are all in the building at the same time. The noise level is pretty high during the breaks. Our high school rooms are quite simple. We have the usual blackboards and some old wooden benches for the students. We don't have any fancy labs or big sports facilities. Most of our time is spent preparing the older kids for their big exams, so the atmosphere is usually a bit more focused. The teachers are always busy with piles of notebooks to grade. We don't have a big administrative staff, so we all pitch in with the cleaning and the maintenance. Sometimes the traffic in MCC B Block makes it hard for the buses to get through, but we manage. We don't have any promotional language to use because we aren't trying to sell anything. We are just a school. The parents in Davangere know where we are, and they usually just walk in if they need to talk to us. It’s a very direct and honest way of doing things. We just keep to our schedule and make sure the work gets done every single day.
