J J Convent School

J J Convent School is over on Bash Nagar Ring Road in Davangere. We are situated right near Bismilla Layout, which is a busy little area. The school has been here for quite some time, and we mostly serve the families in Lal Bahadu Shastri Nagar and Chikkabudihal. My morning usually starts by opening the main gates and watching the traffic on the Ring Road pick up. It gets quite dusty out there, especially when the big trucks go by. The building itself isn't anything to brag about, just a regular structure with classrooms and a small office where we keep all the files. We spend a lot of our time just managing the daily chaos of kids running around. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for years. We don't have fancy cooling systems, just some old ceiling fans that clatter a bit when they are on high. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to open the windows and carry on. We don't do much in the way of big events or fancy advertising. Most people find us just by living in the neighborhood. We see the same parents every day at pickup time, and we chat about the local news or the weather. It’s a very normal, plain sort of place to work. We just focus on the books and making sure the kids stay in their seats. It’s a lot of work, but it’s our life here.
