Shanthinikethan Central School

In the town of Kadur, which is part of the Chikmagalur district, you can find Shanthinikethan Central School. We are located right in the heart of Kadur, so it’s easy for everyone to get to us. The school has a very local feel to it, even though we follow the central curriculum. Most of our staff lives nearby, and we see each other at the market or around town on the weekends. The school days are pretty standard, starting with everyone getting together and then heading off to the various classrooms for lessons. We have a decent amount of space, and we try to keep the garden areas looking okay when the weather permits. Chikmagalur is known for its coffee, but here in Kadur, it’s just about the daily routine of a small-town school. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just provide a place for the kids in this part of the district to come and learn.
