St Josephs Akshradhama Icse School is situated right on the Gaadi Koppa Sagara Road in Shimoga. If you drive past that way, you have probably noticed the building. It’s a solid structure that has been part of the landscape here for some time. We follow the ICSE system, which means there is always a lot of paperwork to handle in the main office. The road outside can get quite busy with trucks and buses, so there is usually a bit of background noise during the day. We don’t have a flashy entrance or anything like that. It’s just a standard gate and a driveway. The classrooms are simple and we try to keep them tidy, though with so many kids around, there’s always a bit of clutter by the afternoon. Our staff members mostly live around Shimoga and know the area well. We don’t have any big marketing brochures or professional photos to show off. What you see from the Sagara Road is exactly what the place is. Sometimes the rain here in 577201 gets really heavy and we have to watch out for leaks in the older part of the building. We just fix things as they break. It is a very hands-on kind of place. Most of us have been working here for years and we’ve seen plenty of families grow up. It’s just a regular local school doing its thing every day.
