Govt Middle School

Govt Middle School is located in the Kachinakatte area of Shivamogga, right here in Shimoga with the 577222 pincode. It’s a standard government facility that has been around for many years. We are tucked away in a part of town that feels very much like a real community. The school building has that old, familiar look that many of these local institutions have. We don't have a lot of extra bells and whistles, just the essentials for teaching the kids from this area. Every day, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood mixed with the voices from the classrooms. Being in Shivamogga means we are very used to the rains and all the greenery around here. Kachinakatte is a place where people really look out for each other. The school is just another part of that daily life. We open up early and close when the sun starts to go down. It’s a simple cycle that we've followed for a long time. We don't have a big budget for decorations or fancy signs. Our focus is just on the day-to-day work of being a school. The staff here are mostly from the nearby areas, so we understand the families we serve quite well. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. If you walk through Kachinakatte, you’ll find us easily enough. We are just a local school doing what we have always done for the people of Shimoga.
