Inchara School sits over in Ward Number 26, specifically in the Al Hareem Layout within the Gopala Housing area. It is a part of the Gopal Gowda Extension in Shimoga. If you know the area, it is mostly residential and quiet enough for a school to be. We have been working out of this building for a while now. It is not a huge place, just enough rooms for the classes we have. The kids come from the nearby houses mostly. You can hear them from the street when they are out for lunch. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment or anything, just the usual blackboards and benches. The staff rooms are a bit cramped, especially on days when everyone is trying to grade papers at the same time. The layout around here is growing, so there is always some construction or something going on nearby. It makes the walks to school a bit dusty sometimes. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, there is always a bit of a mess somewhere. It is just the way it goes. Most of us have been here a long time, so we know the parents and the families around the extension pretty well. It feels more like a neighborhood thing than a big school sometimes. We just focus on getting through the lessons every day and making sure things stay running.
