St. John'S. School

If you are looking for us in Davangere, we are tucked away in the MCC area. It’s a familiar part of the city for most folks living around here. St. John'S. School has been part of this neighborhood for a good stretch of time. Our daily routine is pretty much the same as any other school in the district. We open the gates early, and by eight o’clock, the place is full of chatter. The building itself is simple, nothing too modern, but it does the job. We spend a lot of time organizing classrooms and making sure the kids have what they need for their lessons. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just open the windows and carry on. It’s not always perfectly quiet, especially when it’s time for break, but that is expected. We have a few trees nearby that give a bit of shade during the hotter months. People usually find us easily because everyone knows the MCC layout and where we sit. We don’t have a big fancy reception, just a small office where we handle the paperwork and meet with parents. It feels like a small community inside these walls. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we all know each other’s names and how we like our tea. It is just a regular school trying to do right by the local families in Davangere. We just focus on the children and their daily classes.
