Village The Family Restaurant

Our place, Village The Family Restaurant, is out on Airport Road in Yeyyadi. It's a part of Mangalore that stays busy because of the traffic going back and forth. We’ve been here at Yeyyadi for some time now. It isn't a huge building, but it fits what we need. Families come in after work or on their way somewhere else. We don't do anything too fancy. It’s just a restaurant where you can sit down and eat. We do most of the work ourselves, from opening up in the morning to locking the doors at night. The Airport Road can get noisy with all the cars, but once you step inside, it’s just a regular dining room. We kept the name simple because that's what we are. We see a lot of the same faces every week, which is nice. It makes the work feel a bit more personal. We don't have a marketing department or a big plan. We just show up and cook. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when a big group shows up unannounced, but we find a way to seat them. Being in Mangalore, you get used to the weather and the pace of things. We just try to keep the place clean and the food hot. It’s a basic way to run a business, but it works for us here in Yeyyadi. No fluff, just the restaurant and the daily grind of keeping things going. It's been our life for years now.
