Bombay Lucky Restaurant

Our restaurant is located on Mohammed Ali Road in the Bunder area of Mangalore. We’re right there on Mission Street. Bunder is a very old and busy part of the city, known for its trade and markets. We’ve been here for a long time, serving the people who work in the port and the surrounding wholesale shops. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy decorations. It’s just fans on the ceiling and wooden tables. The food is made in big pots in the back and we serve it hot all day. You’ll see a mix of people here, from truck drivers to local businessmen. The street outside is always full of activity, with people loading goods and motorcycles zooming past. It’s a bit chaotic but we’re used to it. We start our work very early to feed the people who start their shifts at dawn. The menu hasn't changed much over the years because people like what we’ve always made. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Mangalore, just a reliable one where you can get a good meal. It’s a lot of hard work and the kitchen is always steaming, but it’s what we know. We just keep doing our thing here in Bunder, day after day, without any fuss. It's just a regular place for regular people.
