Bhushan Bar & Restaurant

Our place is located on Market Road in Hampankatta, right near the signal light. If you know Mangalore, you know how busy this intersection can get with all the buses and cars passing through all day. We have been here at number 13/3/317 for many years. We operate as both a bar and a restaurant, so we get a mix of different people. Some come in just for a quick meal during their lunch break, while others stop by in the evening to have a drink and relax after working in the market. The building is older and has a lot of character, even if the paint is peeling a bit in the corners or the tables are scratched. It can get quite loud in the evenings with people talking over their drinks, but that’s the usual atmosphere for a place like ours. We serve a lot of local coastal dishes along with the usual fare people expect. The tables are dark wood and the lighting is kept a bit low to make it comfortable. We don't have any of that modern lounge music; it’s just the sound of the fans and the street noise coming in from the signal. The staff has been around for a long time and they know how to handle the weekend rush without getting flustered. It is just a regular Mangalore spot where you can sit down, have a cold drink, and eat something spicy without any complications.
