Chicken Hut Restaurant

Chicken Hut Restaurant is located in the Mahalasa Building. We are right by the 1st Railway Bridge in Marnamikatta. Mangalore is a good place to be, and this specific spot has its own rhythm. Being near the bridge means there is always some noise from the trains and the traffic, but we've gotten used to it. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just our restaurant here in the building. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or tidying up the tables. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. The area around Marnamikatta is fairly active. We get people coming in from the nearby houses and some who are just passing through the city. We don't have a complicated story. We just opened up here because the space was available and it seemed like a decent spot. Sometimes the weather in Mangalore gets really humid, so we just try to keep the place comfortable enough for everyone who stops by. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just make food and serve it. If you are walking near the railway bridge, you will probably see our door. We've been here long enough that most locals know us by now. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we cook, and we go home. That's pretty much the whole deal with us at the Mahalasa Building. We just do the daily grind and try to keep things moving.
