Uttam Punjabi Dhaba

We set up Uttam Punjabi Dhaba here in Kottara a while back. Mangalore is quite different from Punjab, but we wanted to bring those flavors to this side of town. It is right near Inventure Kottara. Sometimes the place gets crowded, especially during lunch hours when people are heading home or taking a break from work. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just a simple dhaba where you can sit down and eat. People find us easily because we are right on the road. The weather here in Mangalore gets really humid, so we try to keep things moving. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. Most of our regulars are folks who live nearby or work in the local offices. We just cook what we know and serve it. It is not some big chain or a high-end place. Just a spot to grab a meal. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a busy day. That's just how it goes with a small kitchen. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just see the sign and walk in. We like it that way because it keeps things quiet and honest. The staff is just a few of us making sure the plates are clean and the food is hot. It’s a basic setup. We appreciate the people who keep coming back to see us.
