Smoke N Oven Cafe

We’re set up on Bejai Main Road, right across from the Vijaya Bank here in Mangalore. It’s a good spot in the Bejai neighborhood, and we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by now. The cafe isn't very big, but we’ve got enough room for a few tables and the oven in the back. That oven stays hot most of the day because we’re always baking something or heating up food for the folks who stop by. We don’t go in for fancy decor or anything too modern. It’s just a simple cafe with wooden chairs and a counter where we take orders. We get a lot of people coming in after work or students who need a break from their books. Sometimes we run out of things toward the end of the day, but that’s just how it goes when you’re a small operation. We don’t have a huge staff, so you’ll usually see the same faces every time you come in. We’re not trying to be the most famous place in town. We just want to make sure the food tastes alright and the coffee is hot. If you’re walking down Bejai Main Road, look for the bank and then look across the street. We’ll likely be there with the door open, just doing our thing.
