Shettys Kori Roti

We are tucked away in the Ibrose Commercial Complex on M G Road in the Kodialbail area of Mangalore. If you know the city, you know this is a busy stretch of road where something is always happening. Shettys Kori Roti is a place where we focus on one of the local favorites that people around here really love. The kitchen is always on the go because making kori roti the right way takes some time and effort. We don't have any corporate slogans or a mission statement pinned to the wall. It is just a restaurant where the staff works hard and the smell of curry is always in the air. Kodialbail is a good spot for us because we get a mix of people coming in from the nearby shops and offices. The complex itself is quite busy, so there is a lot of foot traffic passing by our door every day. We aren't trying to be the fanciest place in Mangalore, we just want to serve food that tastes like it should. Sometimes we run out of roti if the lunch rush is bigger than we expected, but we do our best. It is just a local eatery run by people who grew up eating this food themselves. We keep the tables clean and the pots full, and that is about it. The city keeps growing around us but we just stay here doing our thing on M G Road.
