Scirocco

Scirocco is located at Ochana Apartment, Bejai Kapikad Road, Bejai, Mangalore - 575004, Near New Berry Enclave Bejai. It’s a quiet enough part of Mangalore, mostly residential with places like the enclave nearby. We started this place because we wanted somewhere local for people to eat without having to drive all the way into the main city center. The space isn't huge, but it fits the neighborhood. We get a lot of families from the apartments around here and students who are just looking for a decent meal. Mangalore weather can get really humid, so we try to keep the place feeling breezy and comfortable. Our staff is pretty informal; we talk to our customers like neighbors because most of them actually are. There’s no big corporate office behind us, just a small group of people trying to run a kitchen. Sometimes the rain here is so loud we can barely hear the orders, but we make it work. We’ve had some slow days and some really busy ones where we run out of things faster than we expected. It’s just the way a small business goes. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just open the doors in the morning, prep the ingredients, and wait for people to show up. It’s a simple life and we’re happy to be part of the Bejai community.
