Samak Dine

Samak Dine is located over in Yenepoya Chambers in the Balmatta area of Mangalore. If you are looking for us, we are right across from Shopin, which is a big store that everyone around here knows. Being in Balmatta means there is always a lot of activity outside. We have been at this spot for a few years now. The space inside is okay, not too big and not too small. We have enough tables for the lunch rush when people from the nearby offices come in for a break. It gets pretty hot in Mangalore, so we try to keep the place cool for everyone. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. Most people just walk in because they are in the neighborhood or they saw our sign from the street. The staff is just local folks who know the area well. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the kitchen is ready for the next day. It is a very normal place to eat. Nothing about it is meant to be fancy or high-end. We just serve food and make sure the plates are clean. Sometimes we run out of things if the market was slow that morning, but we usually manage. It is just a regular business in a busy part of the city. We are here every day just doing the work that needs doing.
