Sakthi Soyas Ltd is situated at 180 Race Course Road. If you mention K.J. Sreeraj to people around here, they usually know who you are talking about. This part of town is actually quite nice with all the trees and the people jogging in the mornings. Our place is tucked in there, and it’s a bit of a contrast to the quiet street because we stay pretty active inside. We handle a lot of soya processing, and it’s a process that keeps us on our toes. The smell of the beans is something you just get used to after the first week. We don't have a slick reception area with fancy chairs. Usually, someone will just come out from the back to see what you need. It’s a very hands-on environment. We have workers who have been with us for twenty years, and they know the machines better than anyone. We don't bother with those corporate speeches about goals. We just want to make sure the quality is decent and the bags are filled correctly. The office side is just as plain. We use old ledgers alongside the computers because that’s how we’ve always done it. It’s a bit of a mix of the old ways and the new ones. We just keep our heads down and work.
