William Hare India (P) Ltd. has its office set up at E87, over on 30Th Cross Street in Chennai. This part of the city is usually quite active, and we have been here long enough to see the buildings around us go up. We are located in the 600 090 pin code area. It is a typical Chennai street, where you can hear the sounds of the city all day long. We aren't the type of company that puts up big banners or tries to look flashy. Our office is functional, with enough room for our desks and a place to meet when we need to. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with our tasks. Being a private limited company means we have certain ways of doing things, but we try to keep the atmosphere here fairly relaxed and down-to-earth. We don't have a script for how we talk to people. It is just about getting the engineering and the paperwork done correctly. Most of our day is spent looking at plans or talking to clients over the phone. We like being on 30Th Cross Street because it is easy for people to find once they know the area. It is just a regular place where a bunch of us work every day to keep things running.
