Amman Steel Company

Our address at 25/51 Jones Street is in the middle of Parrys, which is probably one of the most crowded places you can be. Amman Steel Company operates out of a fairly old building. The streets here are so narrow that two cars can barely pass each other. We have to be very careful when we are unloading any steel. Most of our work is done in a small, cramped office that smells like old paper and metal. There is a constant hum of activity outside on the street. Vendors are shouting, and horns are honking all day long. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. People just come in because they know we have been on Jones Street for a while. The walls are lined with old ledgers and some samples of the metal we trade. It gets very humid here, and the old ceiling fan just moves the warm air around. We mostly deal with regular customers who have been coming to this area for years. It isn't a glamorous business. We just spend our time on the phone or checking the stock in the small warehouse area at the back. It is just how business is done in this part of the city. We take it one day at a time. Sometimes the shipments are late, and we just have to deal with the complaints.
