A 1 Alloy Steels

We are based at No 99, Thambu Chetty Street in the Parrys area. It’s a place that is always moving. If you’ve been down this street, you know it’s one of the busiest parts of town. Our shop is full of steel products, and it’s quite heavy work. There isn’t much room to move around once the morning delivery arrives. We have stacks of alloy steel tucked into every corner. The floor is old stone and it’s taken a beating over the years from all the metal being moved around. We don’t have an air-conditioned office or anything like that. We just have a small corner with a table and a couple of stools where we sit and talk to customers. It’s noisy outside with the horns and the people, so we often have to yell a bit to be heard. We don’t use any fancy sales tactics. People come in, ask for what they need, we see if we have it in the back, and that’s about it. The lighting is just some fluorescent tubes that flicker every now and then. We’ve been in Parrys for a while, and we like the grit of the place. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We spend our days counting inventory and loading up orders for people who need steel for their projects. It’s a simple business. We close for lunch at the usual time.
