Adhithya Steels

We’ve been here at 25, Sidco Street for quite some time now. Perambur is a busy spot, and our shop fits right in with the noise and the movement of the area. It is mostly about moving steel around and making sure people get what they need for their projects. We spend a lot of our days handling heavy bars and sheets. It gets pretty dusty inside the shop, especially when there’s a lot of cutting going on. Most of the people who drop by are local builders or guys working on small repairs nearby. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of metal stacked up against the walls. Sometimes the traffic on Sidco Street makes it hard for the trucks to back in, but we manage. My staff and I know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone walking in for the first time. We just focus on the work at hand. It is a straightforward business. We wake up, open the gates, and start unloading whatever arrived that morning. You see the same faces every week, which is nice. It makes the day go by faster when you can chat with the regulars while they wait for their orders. It’s not a glamorous life, but the steel business keeps us on our toes and the bills paid. We just try to keep things moving.
