U Foam

Over here at U Foam, we are based on the ground floor of X 8/1 on 12th Avenue in Ashoknagar. Chennai can be incredibly hot, and being on the ground floor helps a little bit, though the humidity still gets to us during the summer months. Our space is pretty basic. We have the front area for customers who drop by and the rest of the floor is used for storing the foam and handling the paperwork. It is a very direct way of doing business. We have been in Ashoknagar for quite some time, so we know the local tea sellers and the other shop owners on the street. It’s a decent neighborhood to work in, even if parking is a nightmare sometimes. We don't have any big speeches to give about our history or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, check what needs to be delivered, and get to it. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to reorganize the shelves, but mostly we are kept busy. There isn't much decoration on the walls, just some calendars and notes pinned up. We like to keep things simple and honest. If a customer comes in, we just talk to them normally like anyone else. It's a small team here, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing. We don't have a corporate office, just this ground floor space where we work.
