Artisan'S

Our spot is located at 151, Anna Salai, inside the Agurchand Mansion. It is one of those old buildings that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren't used to them. Artisan'S is tucked away here, and we spend our days surrounded by all sorts of handmade items and materials. Anna Salai is always crowded, so getting into the building in the morning can be a bit of a squeeze with all the traffic. Once you are inside, it’s a lot quieter. We have a lot of stuff packed into the space, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to people who come in looking for something specific for their own projects. It is not the kind of place where things are perfectly polished. There’s usually some dust and a few scraps on the floor from whatever we were working on last. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the daily tasks get done. The Agurchand Mansion has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the walls. We just keep doing what we do, handling the inventory and answering the phone when it rings. It’s a busy life but we are used to the pace of this part of the city.
