Kapoor'S Furnishing Fabrics is at 135, Peters Road. We’ve been sitting on this road for a long time now. It’s a place filled with rolls of cloth and different materials for chairs and curtains. The shop isn't very modern. It has that old smell of fabric and wood. We like it that way. Customers come in and touch the materials, which is how it should be. You can't tell the quality of a fabric just by looking at a picture. Peters Road is always humming with traffic, so it can be a bit noisy if the door is left open. We have a small group of people working here. Most of us have been around for years and know exactly which shelf holds what. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up when we have a big shipment, but we eventually get it sorted out. We don’t use any fancy sales tactics. We just show you what we have and let you decide. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. The lighting in the back could be better, but we know our way around. It’s an honest business.
