H K International

We are located at 42 Paramasiva Streek in the Park Town area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always packed with people and traffic. The street is quite narrow, so getting large deliveries in can be a real headache sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through our inventory lists. H K International isn’t a huge operation, just a few of us in a cramped office space. We handle a lot of different items coming and going from various places. The shelves are usually overflowing with samples and boxes that haven't been sorted out yet. It’s not the quietest place to work because of all the street noise coming through the front door. We usually have a fan going full blast to stay cool during the day. There’s a tea shop just down the street where we get our morning drinks and have a chat. Most of our day is spent making sure the paperwork matches what’s in the crates. It’s repetitive, but it’s what keeps things moving along. We don't really do much decorating around here; the walls are mostly covered in calendars and old notes. Park Town has a certain energy that you get used to after a few months. You learn which times of day are best to avoid the main road traffic. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go.
