Agsons India is tucked away in the Sreshta building, specifically at A-12 on Kilpauk Garden Road. Kilpauk is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the street coming through the windows. Our office isn't very big. We have a couple of desks, a very old printer that jams constantly, and stacks of files that probably need sorting. We’ve been here for quite a while now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or responding to inquiries about different products we handle. It’s a pretty straightforward operation. We don’t have fancy rugs or a receptionist to greet you. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We deal with various suppliers across the country. Sometimes things arrive late and we have to spend the afternoon apologizing to people. That’s just part of the job I guess. The building itself is okay, though the elevator is a bit slow. We usually eat lunch at our desks while we talk about the news or the weather. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through our list of tasks and make sure our clients are getting what they asked for without too much trouble. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes through, but we try to get home for dinner.
