The Museum Company

The Museum Company. We are located at number 2, though the old address was 54, on Kasturi Ranga Road in Alwarpet. It’s a nice, leafy part of the city, and the street itself is usually pretty calm compared to the main roads. The building we are in has a bit of character to it, which fits the kind of things we keep inside. We don’t really consider ourselves a typical shop. It’s more like a collection that we look after. We have all sorts of things tucked away in different corners. You might find something large sitting right next to something tiny and delicate. We spend a lot of our time dusting things and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a bit of a labyrinth in here if you don’t know your way around. We don’t have bright neon signs or big posters in the windows. We prefer to let the items speak for themselves. Most of the people who come in are regulars or people who heard about us from a friend. We take our time with everything. There’s no rush here. We might sit and talk about a particular piece for an hour while having some coffee. It’s a slow pace of life on Kasturi Ranga Road, and we’ve grown quite fond of it. The house number change still confuses some people, but we’ve been here long enough that most find us eventually.
