Sri Parani Stores

We have been here on the 4th Main Road for a long time now. Being right near the Canara Bank means most people in Nanganallur know exactly where we are without needing a map. The shop is at number 36 and 37, so it is a decent size for the area. Every morning starts about the same way. We open up the shutters, sweep the front, and get things ready for whoever walks in. It is usually quite busy around here because of the bank traffic. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the scooters parking outside. We don’t really have any fancy decorations or anything. It is just a regular place where we keep what people need. Usually, the regulars stop by to chat for a minute while they get their things. We know most of the faces around this part of Nanganallur. My family and I spend most of our day inside these walls. The shelves are mostly full, but sometimes we run out of things if the truck is late. That is just how it goes with a local shop. We try to keep things organized but it often gets a bit messy during the rush hours. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings come up but we are still here in the same spot. It is just honest work and we stay busy from morning until we close late in the evening.
