Rathna Stores Firm

We’ve been running Rathna Stores Firm for quite a while now. You can find us at Number 79 Shiva Complex, which is right across from Ranganathan Street on South Usman Road in T Nagar. If you know Chennai, you know how busy it gets around here. It’s always crowded with shoppers and people rushing to the station. Our shop is usually packed with all sorts of household things. We sell everything from stainless steel pots to small plastic buckets and kitchen gadgets. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning and soft music. It’s a real shop where things are stacked high on the shelves. Sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what you want, but the staff knows where every single item is hidden. We spend most of our days helping people pick out the right size pressure cooker or a set of tiffin boxes. It’s loud and it’s hot, but that’s just how T Nagar is. We like being in the middle of all that energy. We aren't some big chain store; we are just a local firm that’s been here serving the neighborhood for years. People come to us because they know we have the basics they need for their homes. We open early and stay open until the last customer leaves. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the stock, but we manage to keep the doors open six days a week for whoever needs us.
