Shilpa Stainless

We are located at 80, Dr. Alagappa Road. It’s a pretty well-known street, and we’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. At Shilpa Stainless, we deal with all sorts of stainless steel items. If you walk into our place, you’ll see stacks of shiny pots, plates, and industrial components everywhere. It’s not exactly organized like a showroom, but more like a working warehouse where things are moved around constantly. The air always has that faint metallic smell. The office part is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood where we handle the accounts and talk to suppliers. It’s usually quite loud because of the traffic on Dr. Alagappa Road, but we’ve stopped noticing it after all these years. We don’t have a big team, just a handful of us who know the trade well. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for a long time. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertisements. The work speaks for itself, and we just try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. Usually, we close up around seven in the evening, after we’ve finished the last of the packing for the day. It’s a long day, but it’s what we know. The ceiling fan in the back has a bit of a wobble, but it keeps the air moving on those humid afternoons.
