Our office is over at Florida Towers on Nelson Manickam Road, specifically unit 138/30 on the second floor. If you know this road, you know how the traffic can get, especially during rush hour. Metecno has been based here for some time now, and we've gotten used to the constant hum of the city. We work on things related to construction panels and roofing, so there are always samples and technical drawings lying around the desks. It’s not the most stylish office, but it’s where we get the real work done. The building has a lot of other offices, so we see a lot of people in the hallways. We have a small kitchen area where we brew our own coffee, which usually tastes better than the stuff downstairs. Our team is a mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer faces. We don’t really do big corporate speeches or anything like that. We just come in, check our schedules, and try to make sure our clients are getting what they need. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up, or the parking is a nightmare, but we manage. It’s a practical location for us since we need to be central to get to different project sites around the city. We like it here despite the noise and the busyness. It feels like we are right in the thick of the building trade, which makes sense for us.
