Our business, Cheenai Sakti Steel Products Pvt Ltd., is situated at 4 South Road West in CIT Nagar. Chennai can get incredibly hot, and working with steel doesn’t exactly make it any cooler. We have been at this location for quite some time now. The facility is mostly dedicated to handling various steel items. It’s a heavy industry, so the floors are concrete and there is always a bit of dust from the metalwork. We don’t have a polished showroom with bright lights. Most of our customers are builders or people who need steel for construction. They come here because they know we have what they need. We spend our days checking the weight of the steel and making sure the cutting is done correctly. It is physical, tiring work, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the trucks loaded up and ready to go. Our staff is a small group of people who have been working together for a long time. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just process steel products. The neighborhood of CIT Nagar is quite familiar to us, and we like being part of the local landscape here. South Road is usually busy, but we have our own routine that keeps us going from morning until the evening. We just focus on the steel and the orders that need to be filled.
