You can find us over at 472 Patiala House Courts. If you’ve ever been to the courts, you know how it is—lots of people rushing around with files and a lot of noise in the corridors. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Our day usually starts with a lot of reading and sorting through papers before the hearings begin. It’s a small space, but it’s packed with books and documents that have piled up over the years. We aren’t trying to be one of those huge law firms with glass walls and expensive rugs. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of hard work. People come to us when they have legal troubles and need someone who understands how the court system actually works. We spend a lot of time waiting in the hallways or talking to other people around the building. It’s a bit of a grind, but we’re used to it. The atmosphere in Patiala House is always intense, and we just try to stay focused on the tasks we have for that day. We handle all sorts of stuff, from small disputes to more complicated things. We don’t make big promises; we just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes we stay late when the court schedule gets backed up. It’s a busy life, but it feels right being right in the middle of where everything happens.
