Ajay Bansal is the name on the door here at 12 Bengali Market, situated right in the Central Lane. This area is quite famous for its food and old shops, so it’s a nice place to come to work every day. We’ve been in this particular spot for a long time, and the building has that old Delhi charm to it. It’s not a huge operation, just a small office where we handle various professional tasks. We see a lot of people walking by to grab a snack at the nearby stalls, and some of them end up dropping in for a chat or to discuss business matters. The space inside is quite cozy, maybe even a little cramped with all the files and books we have stored over the years. We don't really go for a modern look; we just keep things functional and tidy. Most of our work involves a lot of reading and writing, keeping track of different accounts or legal bits. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except for the typical sounds of the market outside. We like being in Central Lane because it’s easy for people to find us without needing a map. No fancy reception area here, just a desk and some chairs for whoever comes by to see us. We’ve known the neighbors for years, which makes the whole street feel like a small village community. It’s just a steady, everyday kind of place where we do our work without any unnecessary fuss.
