Amol Chitale

You can find us at 14 Tilak Marg, specifically in Block A of the New Chambers. Being so close to the Supreme Court of India means the whole area is always buzzing with people in black robes and lots of cars. Amol Chitale has been working from this office for a good stretch of time. The room is pretty packed with files and law books. Honestly, there’s barely enough space for a third chair sometimes. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or leather sofas. It’s just a place where work gets done. The windows look out toward the street, so you hear the honking and the crowds all day long. It gets pretty frantic around here when the courts are in session. We spend most of our time reading through documents or talking on the phone. Sometimes we have to run over to the court buildings, so the office stays empty for an hour or two. It’s a practical space for a lawyer’s work. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but we’re used to it. We don't do much marketing or anything like that; people usually just find us because they need help with their cases. It's a lot of paperwork and long hours, but that is just how it goes in this profession at Tilak Marg.
