Avijit Bhattacharyjee

I spend most of my days here at 420 Mandi House. It is right by the Supreme Court of India in the New Lawyers Chamber. Being in this part of Delhi means things are always moving fast. You see a lot of lawyers and people looking for help every single morning. I have been doing this work for a while now. Most people know me by name, Avijit Bhattacharyjee. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to get the paperwork sorted and meet folks who have cases. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is where the real talk happens. Traffic around Mandi House can be a nightmare if you arrive late. I try to get in early to beat the rush. My desk is usually covered in files. It is just the way legal work goes. You handle one thing and another three pop up. Being close to the court helps because everything is right there. I don't really have a big staff or anything, just me and the work that needs doing. It gets loud in the chambers when everyone is talking at once. If you are looking for the room, it is easy to find once you are inside the New Lawyers building. I basically live out of this office during the week. It is a lot of reading and late nights. That is pretty much how it is.
