I've been working here in Connaught Place for quite some time now. Our place is tucked away in Shiv Mahal, right on the main road, not too far from Pvr Plaza. If you know the area, it's always busy with people rushing around. It’s a lower ground floor spot, which stays a bit cooler during the Delhi summers, though the humidity still gets in sometimes. I usually get here early to open up and get things organized before the noise starts outside. There are a lot of offices around us and plenty of shops, so there is always someone coming in or out. It isn't a fancy setup, just a practical space where we handle what needs doing. Some days are packed with work and others are a bit slower, giving me time to catch up on paperwork or just have a tea. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing down, but we stay put here at B/45/47. It’s just how things are in CP, everything is moving. I try to keep the desk tidy but it rarely stays that way for long. We don't really do much in terms of decoration. It's mostly just desks, files, and the usual stuff you’d find in any working office. People stop by for different reasons, sometimes they are looking for directions because this building can be a bit confusing for first-timers. We just point them the right way and get back to it. It is what it is.
