Arun Kumar Mishra

My name is Arun Kumar Mishra and you can find me over at 390 Patiala House Courts. I’ve been working out of this Lawyers Chamber for some time now. Patiala House is a place with a lot of history and it’s always crowded. I like the noise, actually. It feels like things are happening. My day usually starts early. I get in, sort through the mail, and look at what’s on the schedule. Legal work involves a lot of waiting around, which gives me time to think or catch up on reading. I don’t have a flashy office. It’s functional. There are chairs for visitors and a sturdy table for my laptop and papers. I’ve lived around here most of my life, so I know the area well. People come in with all sorts of worries. I try to give them a bit of clarity. Sometimes we just sit and talk through the options. There’s no magic to it, just looking at the facts. The air conditioning in the building struggles sometimes in the summer, but we manage. I’m not really one for big speeches. I’d rather just do the filing and get the job done. If you need to find me, I’m usually there until the sun goes down. It's a simple setup but it works for what I do. I try to stay on top of the new rules as they come out.
