This shop is at A 17/3 in Rana Pratap Bagh. It’s a busy little corner of Delhi. We spend most of our day making sandwiches and keeping the counter clean for the next person. It gets pretty crowded during the lunch hour when people come in from the nearby offices and schools. We have the usual bread and toppings you expect to see. Nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary. My team and I have been working here for a while, so we know most of the people who walk in by their first names. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good because Delhi gets so hot in the summer months. We don't have a lot of seating inside, just a few small tables, so many people just take their food to go. We keep an eye on the clock to make sure everyone gets their food fast. Sometimes the bread delivery is a bit late in the morning because of the heavy traffic, but we manage somehow. We aren't trying to be the fanciest place on the block. We just want to make sure the vegetables are fresh and the floor is swept at the end of the shift. It’s a lot of standing on our feet all day, but it’s okay. The neighborhood is loud and full of life, and we like being right in the middle of it all.
