Bir Singh Rana

Bir Singh Rana is situated right on the Tis Hazari Main Road at number 325. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know how much energy is always pulsing through the streets. It’s right in the middle of everything. We have a lot of people passing by our door all day long. Some are heading to the courts and others are just going about their errands. Our space is functional and mostly filled with chairs for people to sit while they wait for whatever they need. The dust from the road tends to settle on everything, so we spend a bit of time every morning wiping down the tables. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have much in the way of wall art, just a calendar and maybe a clock that’s a few minutes fast. The noise of the buses and the rickshaws is constant, but it becomes like background music after a while. We handle a lot of paperwork and speak to a lot of different people throughout the day. It can get a bit tiring when it’s busy, but that’s just how it is. We don't try to be anything we’re not. We just provide a place where things get done. By evening, the traffic dies down a little and we can finally hear ourselves think before we head home. It’s a busy life but it keeps us on our toes and we like the pace of it.
