Dolma House

Dolma House is located at House Number 1 in Block Number 10 of New Aruna Nagar. Most people just know the area as Majnu Ka Tilla. It is a very tight-knit neighborhood with narrow lanes and lots of energy. Our place is tucked in there among the other houses and shops. It can be a bit tricky to find if it’s your first time, but that’s part of the charm of the colony. We have a few floors, and the stairs are a little steep, so you have to watch your step. The rooms are filled with the sound of people talking and the smell of steam from the kitchen. We’ve been here since the neighborhood was much smaller. It gets very crowded on the weekends with students and visitors, but we try to keep things moving. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished reception desk. It’s just us serving food and making sure everyone has a place to sit. Sometimes we run out of space and people have to wait, but usually, it works out. It is a humble spot in a very special part of Delhi. We just do our best to keep the traditions going in our own small way. You can hear the bells from the monastery nearby and the chatter from the street outside. It's a busy, lively place that never really seems to stay quiet for long, and we've grown to love that noise.
