Cost Effective Catering is located over in Kamla Nagar, specifically at 32-Ub in Jawahar Nagar. It’s a busy student area and things are always moving around here. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time now. The name kind of says it all because we try not to overcharge for what we do. It’s just straightforward catering for local events, small parties, or even just family gatherings at home. We don’t have a glossy brochure or a sales team. Usually, it's just me or one of the staff answering the phone and writing down orders on a pad. The kitchen is busy and we focus on getting the food to stay hot until it reaches the venue. Being in Kamla Nagar means we have to deal with narrow lanes and a lot of pedestrians, which makes loading the vans a bit of a challenge every single day. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide decent food for people who don't want to spend a fortune on a fancy brand name. We use fresh ingredients from the local market because it’s easier and everything is right there. It’s a simple business model that works for us and the neighborhood. Most of our customers are people who live right here in Jawahar Nagar or the nearby blocks. We’re just local people doing a job we know.
