Ramesh Shivaji Rao Jadhav

I am Ramesh Shivaji Rao Jadhav. My office is at 6 Sansad Marg, specifically in the Supreme Court of India Lawyers Chamber. This isn't a typical business office you'd find in a mall or a commercial tower. It’s a place filled with books and files. If you walk through the chambers, you’ll see many of us working in these small spaces. It’s always busy here because the court is right next door. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the chamber and the courtrooms. The hallways are usually full of people in black robes talking about their cases. My desk is almost always covered in papers. I try to keep it organized, but it’s a losing battle most days. We have a small bench for visitors to sit on while we discuss things. It’s a very formal environment because of where we are, but inside the chamber, we keep it practical. Being at Sansad Marg means we are at the center of everything in Delhi. It can be quite a long day, starting early and staying until the light fades. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just the law books we need for our work. It’s a straightforward life, focused on the files in front of us and the schedules of the court which dictate everything we do from Monday to Friday.
