Le Wraps

We are located at 14062 Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. Le Wraps isn’t a massive restaurant, just a place where we make food for the folks around here. It gets really hot in the kitchen during the lunch rush. We start early in the morning, chopping vegetables and getting the sauces ready. The smell of grilled meat and spices usually fills the small space by eleven. We have a few tables, but a lot of people just take their food to go. Ansari Road is always full of cars and people heading to the offices or the bookshops nearby. We see the same faces every day, mostly students and office workers looking for a quick bite. The counter is a bit worn out from all the orders being passed over it. We try to keep things simple. No fancy menus with pictures, just what we’re cooking that day. Sometimes the delivery guys are all waiting at once and it gets a bit hectic. My apron is never clean for long. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve seen the street change a bit. But we’re still here, rolling up wraps and trying to keep the grill going. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. Darya Ganj is a busy part of town and we’re just glad to be a part of the daily routine for people who work around here. We just focus on the food and getting it out quickly before the next person arrives.
