We are located over on Bharat Ram Road in Darya Ganj, which is a pretty busy part of town if you know it. Our office is on the third floor of building 4805/24, right near the State Bank of India. Being in this neighborhood for a while, we've gotten used to the noise and the constant moving around of goods. Jawahar Textiles is mostly about handling fabrics and getting them to the right places. It isn't a huge operation with fancy carpets, just a practical space where we work every day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the latest shipments coming in. Some days the lift is acting up, so we end up using the stairs more than we'd like. The area is full of history and other shops, so there is always someone passing by. We deal with all sorts of cloth and materials, keeping track of what’s in stock and what’s heading out to customers. It’s local work, done by people who have lived in Delhi for most of their lives. We don't do much fancy talk here, just focus on the orders and making sure the textile side of things stays moving.
