You can find Bhasin and Co Advocates right in the heart of the city at 10 Connaught Place. We are specifically located on Hailey Road, up on the tenth floor of the building. Being in CP means it is always busy outside, with people rushing to the metro or grabbing lunch, but once you get up to the tenth floor, it’s a bit quieter. The office has been here for a long time, and you can tell by the way the wooden shelves are packed with old law books and folders. It’s the kind of place that smells like old paper and ink. We spend a lot of time preparing for court cases and meeting with people who need legal advice. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we usually tell people to give themselves a few extra minutes. It’s not a flashy, modern office with glass walls; it’s more traditional and feels a bit lived-in. There are desks covered in legal pads and half-empty cups of tea everywhere. We work through the day handling various legal matters, and sometimes the lights stay on quite late if there’s a big case coming up. Hailey Road is a good spot because it’s slightly away from the loudest parts of the inner circle. It’s just a group of people doing legal work in a very old, established part of New Delhi.
